Not personally. Reports of unchanged or even increased sensibility are
quite common though.
It's not like there's a single nerve in your nipple that goes numb when
punctured, think of it more like a network.
Losing sensation would most likely be the result of excessive scarring,
which can occur for a variety of reasons, e.g. inappropriate jewelry
(too thin, ring diameter too small- I'm partial to barbells, at least 12
ga), repeated tearing/snagging, inferior jewelry quality (rough
surfaces), untreated metal allergies, infections....
