My Idea!

So, I've been eager to get my first tattoo and I've pretty much narrowed it down to this design:

I think it looks pretty awesome, especially for my back. My idea is to remove the "F" and complete the inside with a sword, and replace the words, with "Carpe Diem"

Comments?

Also, I'm not interested in a full back size, rather half, or less, is this possible with still looking nice? THANKS!
