What tattoo artists do you know.

Do you guys have a particular artist that you go to?
I go to a place called ArtnSoul in Whangarei, owned and run by Jody Rowe. Renee is the other artist that works there and they both did my back.
Jody originated from Memphis and has worked all over, great guy to talk to and both are bloody good at their work. Renee is a kiwi girl.
We had a tattoo competition in Jan and I won Best Back overall and Best Female which made them really proud. They did heaps of Tat's on the day and brought over Annette La"Rue from New Orleans and Miss Debrough from Miami. They stayed at our Motel and it was good to get to meet them, wish I"d had more time to spend with them. Who knows maybe one day I"ll make it over that way.

I have lots of artist friends mostly in the south florida community,
Try going to a local tattoo convention in your area google it i'm sure you can find one at most conventions i've been to there are at least 50 artists or more
working in every style you can imagine. e

I'll give that a go, I know that down in Auckland they have a few tattoo conventions, that might be good for my next holiday

@bluntmonkey: good advice -- local conventions are an ideal place to browse and network with talented artists.

Duh ,
Didnt realize you were in new zealand , Here in the states we are overrun with tattoo artists and wannabe tattoists also good luck with your search and if you ever decide to come stateside let me know
