addictive??????

i was reading an interesting artical in a tattoo mag the other day are tattoos addictive? after two pages of debateing they couldn't decide. what do you think. personally i am addicted to the end result i get a real buzz from seeing the impressive artwork my bare skin has been transformed into some people claim to be addicted to the pain, the planning, etc. also your level of addictiveness dictates as to where you draw the line do you keep within non public areas or do you cover the lot. and what do you do once you are covered. it was very interesting. what do you think are they?

i think on the psychological level they CAN be addictive, just like any form of art. one can be addicted to oil paintings, comic books, or movies, and spend their whole life collecting them. by the same token, some people can become just as dedicated to their own tattoo collection (on their bodies!). of course I say SOME people. there will also be just as many casual tattoo enthusiasts who may be happy and satisfied with their one or two tatts.

Hi, well for myself i would have to say the whole process is addictive. When i start to think about ink, plan whats next, where and what....oh yeah i can feel my adrenalin starting to go as i type this lol

I find it addictive and I it gives me a buzz seeing the end result. I've just had another 2 tats done in the past 2 weeks.

Definitely addictive, I think even on a physical level you have a great release of adrenaline and endorphins when you are being tattooed I CRAVE that feeling, love it like a fat kid loves cake Yes I would have to say they are addictive.

if my mom approved of me having a tattoo
i would get anywhere i want
now,, i only have one,
but i'm planning to get more
i just have to find a way to hide it from my mom

* i would say that they are addictive. i only have 2, but wen ever im watchin somethin on tv bout them, or around people w/ multiple tatts, i just makes me want to go out and get one. i have multiple ideas for tatts that i want, but dont have the money, but wen i do, watch out....

I haven had my first tattoo yet im just wondering what made you guys get yours or do u really need a reason. im in two minds. Do tattos need to mean something personal??
