Default What I'd like to know!

I'd be interested to talk to some people about what style ink they are into and what about it appeals to them personally . I am getting limited on locations for tattoos but am reserving my left leg till I figure what style i want for it "i'm currently undecided" most of my tatts are pretty much old school traditional in style although several pieces I have, my artists have thrown in some new school twist. I have no traditional oriental although i find it awesome and it has been a consideration but i'm still contemplating.

My full back is all about nature except for the dragon but he kinda fits in with the scene. I'm lookn at gettn my legs done next but am giving it alot of thought cause I want it to blend with the back, thinkn maybe extending the water down the legs into a waterfall and adding some more maori designs into it but not sure what else. Was wanting to get my arms done but because we run a motel, conference venue and lodge I still have to be careful about showing off my work, some people are really into it but others aren't, it is becoming more acceptable over here but I think it has alond way to go
To me my tattoo is all about where I come from and live, we are surrounded by woodlands and everytrhing on my back is what you would find in the woodlands,(maybe not the dragon) I love nature and animals and love the fact that no matter where I go I'll always have a piece of NZ with me.
It is also special to me cause my husband and I both designed the drawing.
I'm not sure what kinda style it would come under, haven't seen anything else like it so far

i may be new here but my past influences really decided into my tattoo. growin up i've always loved Japan's culture and all things about it. The main things i loved were the cars (obviously) and the way of the samurai, and the landscape and yes the most important aspect, the fish and ponds. The tattoo i got was drawn up to my detail (and tattooists own personal flair) and it was drawn by a 14 year old which is amazing IMO.. its basically a Hippo Samurai, but i know that the Japanese theme will continue on in all of my tattoos atleast on my right side.
