~Need tattoo ideas~

*Im wantin to cover my back with tattered fairy wings, but cant seem to find an idea of wat i want. i have the idea in my head, but cant draw for shit, and dont know anyone that can draw it out. if therre is anyone that can either find me a pic of tattered fairy wings, or may have ideas, plz let me know!*

If you really want it that bad the least you could do is draw something up, even if you can't draw the artist can still tell what you want. Then bring it in and the tattooist can make a better sketch of it, or find yourself a picture on the web somewhere that fits your criteria. I hope you found me helpful in a way.

If you want to have the wings look realistic check some artists in your area if they are any good at all they should have a portfolio for you to look at "pics of other tatts they have done" make a mental note of their style and see how you feel about some of their finished work same goes if your interested in a more cartoonish type of wings seek an artist who is comfortable working in bold color. The concept of the tattered wings is not going to be that difficult for a good artist to render you some cool ideas to look at. At this point since you have a good idea what you want, find an artist whose work fits your idea of the style your after. Finally if you are gonna put wings on your back GO BIG the BIGGER the BETTER!!!!!!! Tattered wings is an interesting statement but my feeling for what its worth is for the message to come across its gotta be clear and large scale thats what pulls it off for me

P.S. Check out Amy Brown Fairies Fairy Art: Amy Brown Fantasy and Faery Art: The Official Online Gallery She has drawn so many cool fairies . I'm NOT advising you to steal her copyrighted work but looking through her fairy pics should allow you to find a set of wings in the style you are seeking hope this is helpful !

well i think i may have found wat i want but its on a poster in my room...i have been told just to take it in and c if someone can size it down alittle and draw it out, but its a huge poster..so idk, and i dont know how much its goin to cost to draw it out. im thinking that if i get some tracing paper that i can trace it and then take it in for down sizing. but i really dont have the money right now to have an artist draw it, if it even cost alot, idk...
