Default Back tattoo and pain

Im 16 and i want to get a tattoo in a couple years. I already have a design that my friend drew out for me. I want to have it on my back. The design is a dragon wraped around a sword/dagger. It is so wicked looking. Now the hilt fothe sword will be from shoulder blade to shoulder blad with the sword itself going down the spine. The dragon will be in the surronding areas. I would like to know your thoughts on this idea and also on how much you think this will hurt. I know pain depends on the person but i would like to know from your experiances how much you think it will hurt. Thank you.

Default Re: Back tattoo and pain

Pain is relative there will be parts of your back , spine, on bone etc that are going to produce different levels of intensity. on a large piece i hit a stride for a few hours then i start getting ready for my artist to be finished for the day. rythym and breathing i find very useful to stay in a good state of mind while I GET INKED. gOOD lUCK e
