Default Want sleeves

Where do I begin? Are most sleeves "theme" or what? Do you tell the artist multiple designs? Then they piece them together? Can someone who has done it steer me in the right direction? Just want advice before I walk in the shop.

Ha'vn't had sleeves done yet but that is the next plan.
Do you have anything on your arms already or are you starting from scatch? What do you like.
I guess it's really up to you but I think that being able to put everything together looks wicked and it can kinda tell a story.
With my back it took me quite some time to come up with what I now have, the dargon came first and I wanted him to be a part of the scene, I didn't want him lookn like he didn't belong so I came up with the woodlands look.
I'm now trying to think about continuing that theme with the arms and legs, I guess I will never stop

I've posted some good sleeve pics on this site recently, You might consider half sleeves as they are easier to conceal it depends on your lifestyle occupation etc. you are only limited by your imagination try to narrow down the style you are into and would like on YOUR skin such as traditional "my fave" new skool, oriental , realism, black and grey, color, cartoon, etc. I feel tattoos should have personal meaning to the wearer but some folks just like large coverage or pattern tatts like tribal for instance, I like tribal if its BIG and BOLD so people will know your in the tribe, but I prefer more intricate
color images and patterns but hey thats me think hard and look at alot of ink before deciding some great artists you could google for ideas are my friends at aceshightattooshop.com Chip Phil Isaac and Roger also aaron bell and slave to the needle tattoos, paul booth, brandon bond tattoos, rockabilly Tattoo PL Serrano, Dicky mcgoo tattoos , pat fish celtic tattoos and dont forget to get your ass to a convention if you can such as GOLD COAST TATTOO CONVENTION - JANUARY 26 AND 27, 2007 Just some thoughts email me if you want to talk ink. B
P.S. check MY pirate theme tattoo sleeve on this site and leave me some comments or thoughts . THANX
