an update on my ears.
i'm currently up to 11/16", wearing a dopey pair of 18mm acrylic plugs which are slowly being wrapped with tape every few days. i anticipate 3/4" coming pretty quickly, but i'm not pushing it. in my excitement, i just ordered these: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...923/plugs4.gif from wildcat (http://tinyurl.com/37qsmg). omg, how did i miss seeing these on their site before?! i am also lightly modifying my upper earlobes. the 2ga in my right ear (as seen here: http://www.bmezine.com/pierce/01-ear.../lishear10.jpg from many years ago) is going down to a 4ga. & when i'm comfortable at 3/4", the 12ga curve in my left upper lobe (seen here: http://www.bmezine.com/pierce/01-ear...lishear111.jpg) is moving to a 14ga 3/16" straight bar with two 3mm flatbacks, & i am putting in two additional identical pieces of jewelry to that in a triangle pattern. it will be kickass, & there will be pics on bme. i also decided to take the 2ga cartilage punch in the left up to 0ga, but a stretch was being as bitchy as expected, so i'm just going to repunch the hole again. for those counting, that will make three punches & a pierce in that spot - i originally stretched a 16ga piercing there to 6ga; it started to ripple so i had it punched at 6mm for 4ga jewelry; it was done on a wonky angle so i repunched it two years later to 8mm & wore 2ga in it for six years; & now we're going again. welp, better to start small & repunch large than go too big & be stuck. :D yesterday was joe's birthday, & i will probably be performing his 6mm conch punch for him this weekend. we'll take pics. (for anyone wondering what i got him for his birthday, i kick all the ass: http://lishd.livejournal.com/39880.html) there you go. lish "your house is standing crank@got.net on a foot & a half of silt." -uc 43.9% / 30 RANA 128 / 70 |

There better be, because I'm not about to print out your ear and take a pencil to it to figure out what the hell you're talking about 8). > i also decided to take the 2ga cartilage punch in the left up to > 0ga, but a stretch was being as bitchy as expected, Ah... I just stretched my left conch piercing to 8 ga (originally pierced at 14 ga, then stretched to 12, then 10) so that it matches the punched one in the right ear. Bitchy! I'm now wearing IS fake opal plugs in both, which may just be the girliest pieces of piercing jewelry I own :D. > i kick all the ass: Indeed you do! Bitchy! i recently tried stretching one of my vertical conches to 10ga from a 2mm punch (seven years ago), but wow was it unhappy. i may try that again later. There is a link to these on the "ikon plug" page, right on top. Their website sucks :D > a tiny metal dot triangle in my upper lobe. NOT DIFFICULT TO > IMAGINE, DOCTOR. I exhausted my mental capacities today by manually converting (as in: I tallied) evaluation sheets to Excel and finally into nifty little diagrams that show just how much I rock. And yes, Germany has electricity and computers and online-based evaluation, just not for this class :D. > i recently tried stretching one of my vertical conches to 10ga > from a 2mm punch (seven years ago), but wow was it unhappy. i may try that > again later. Yeah, I had tried the 10->8 stretch about two years ago and it didn't work out. It's calming down nicely now. I love the IS 8 ga eyelets and plugs because they have a groove on one end. And thanks to Bodyartforms, I have a lifetime supply of clear o-rings because I'm getting some (har!) for free with every order :D. I actually lost the first eyelet (which wasn't grooved) from my punched conch . > HA ha, you have a bajina. YES, AND YOU CAN'T HAVE IT%§&%&@ Nina -- C'est les microbes qui auront le dernier mot. I actually lost the first eyelet NB> (which wasn't grooved) from my punched conch . bodyartforms.com is great. i just bought a bunch of stuff there, including the aforementioned 3/16" flatback barbells. getting a bunch of other crap free with my order was nice, too - i got joe his very own 8ga taper for when he knocks the eyelets out of his nostrils, which is pretty much every week. must talk to pat about a custom order of half-drilled eyelets with big flatbacks for the inside of his nose. >> HA ha, you have a bajina.
