I just stretched my ears from a 6g to a 0g.
Ive stretched my ears about three times total now. (the last time to a 2g) and they fell out so I left em out for a few weeks and then started stretching again. So I have acrylic tapers in right now, and they are at the fat part of it, so I believe they are both at a 0g. They arent completely in cause it was hurting like hell yesterday when I took the glass ones out and bleeding a little so I just shoved these in. My left side is a little swollen but not sore unless you bump it. My right side hurts like holy heck and is pretty friggin swollen and red. I know I normally have a problem with that side...but GEEZ! I know Ive heard about these sea salt soaks...will they really help? Normally I can switch from tapers to plugs within a few days...I have a wedding this saturday and I do NOT want to be wearing these stupid acyrilic tapers. Or holding an ice pack to my ear every 5 minutes and popping motrin constantly. Help me out! What should I do? |

I mean I was originally at a 2...I just took the 2's out for a bit. so does that really make a diff? & I highly doubt its infected (seeing as there is no pus or anything)...theyve done this before when I went from a 6 to a 4...I just put them in and they were sterile, I cleaned them and everything. I just want the swelling to go down. Its only been a few hours since I put the tapers in. I had glass ones in before that. jesus woman. It only started to bleed after I tried to put threaded plugs in... |

It obviously does, because your lobes are fucked up. After "a few weeks" of leaving jewelry out, your lobes will most likely not be at 2 ga. & I highly doubt its infected (seeing as there is > no pus or anything)...theyve done this before when I went from a 6 to > a 4... If you don't think you've done anything wrong, suck it up, quit whining and just wait around instead of getting proper treatment. Oh, and have fun with lobes that will look like a cat's anus because of your ineptitude. Nina -- C'est les microbes qui auront le dernier mot. Louis Pasteur http://www.chaotropic.net |

I never said I didnt do shit wrong but jesus, talk about being a bitch. and they dont look like a cats anus...thank you. I dont need proper treatment the whole world doesnt revolve around doctors and antibiotics. in fact half the time antibiotics cause more problems you didnt have originally. so I prefer more holistic treatment instead. maybe you need to go to the doc for everything but I sure as heck dont. |

I was asking for your god damned opinion lady I was asking how to reduce swelling. p.s. maybe you need to go to the doc for every little problem you have but I do just fine not going and using holistic treatment. |

Let's see.. you didn't bother to properly educate yourself on stretching before you started, and then you come and whine about it here. And you'd obviously rather spend your time bitching at me than catching up on that knowledge you should have acquired prior to stretching. I have no patience with lazy asses like yourself. > swell. In that case: Chestnut bud, elm, heather, holly, mimulus, hornbeam, water violet, willow, and gorse. Good luck. > maybe you need to go to the doc for everything but I sure as heck dont. It's kind of hard for me to escape the doc. Then again, I know how to stretch piercings properly. Works a lot better than holistic treatment, too! Stupid, fucking, tofu- eating, vagina-slime retard. Why do I think you either weigh 300 lbs., or you make a chop-stick look fat? I'll bet healthy is NOT a word that should be used in reference to you. But I'm sure Curt will come to defend you. He's special that way. Kavin |

It's Wednesday night and your one earlobe is agitated for a reason. You're stretching too quickly would be my guess. Perhaps you might think of stopping that. Let them calm down. The right lobe especially, right? And then find some jewelry you can wear without causing yourself any ice-necessary or motrin-required pain. My lobes were punched at 2 gauge. I kept them there for a long while, but eventually went to 0 gauge. Waited another, what I'd call significant, period of time and jumped (more of a hop, eh?) to 00 gauge. What's the hurry? Regardless, enjoy the wedding. Heck, wear the acrylic tapers. Nice conversation and if it's like some of the weddings I've attended, people will be too drunk to notice. Welcome to RAB! ;o) -- Curt |
