Nipple piercing. Has anyone ever heard of losing sensation to the nipple
afterward? It is easy to imagine since you could conceivably be going through nerves and whatnot. But soooooo many people have them done, if this was normal you'd think it would be very well known. I do NOT want to loose sensation to my nipples. I have heard loosing sensation is par for the course with clit piercings. I am not interested in piercing my clit anyway. But it does not seem comprehensible that someone would knowingly pierce their clit if it was going to stop sensation. What is your collective wisdom on this issue? No hurry since I am not going to do it until I find a piercer who doesn't suck and have a completely healed naval. Thanks. Stephanie |

And navEl rather than navAl. So you weren't satisfied with the piercer who did your navel? Regardless, I didn't lose any sensation to my nipples and have had them pierced twice. Ymmv. Best of luck. It's not like there's a single nerve in your nipple that goes numb when punctured, think of it more like a network. Losing sensation would most likely be the result of excessive scarring, which can occur for a variety of reasons, e.g. inappropriate jewelry (too thin, ring diameter too small- I'm partial to barbells, at least 12 ga), repeated tearing/snagging, inferior jewelry quality (rough surfaces), untreated metal allergies, infections.... > What is your collective wisdom on this issue? All I was pointing to was the fact that YOU, CURT, did not give Stephanie her "S>" when you replied. But no, Curt has to try and prove Kavin wrong in any way so he can try and feel superior. And in doing so, he proves Kavin right. It's the hard-on, Curt. You can't see straight for it. Kavin |
