OT What the eff is up with getting all personal?

I am trying to talk about tattoos and piercings here and you are going
ALL off topic. What the eff is up with that? Can't you stay on topic?!
My personal life is none of your effing business and you got your facts
all wrong. Dang. What a bunch of losers.

Well, see, this newsgroup has been around for a LONG time. It's become
a group of close friends that use it to talk to each other and show of
their new artwork, maybe display a new artist they found.

A new person often fails to grasp that and comes in thinking they're all
that and a bag of chips when, in fact, they're nothing new and their
fabulous new tattoo looks like it was done by a no-talent hack.

When you wear something that could be hung in the Louvre, then we'll talk.

P.S. That piercing you tried to show us (really poor showing, in that
picture, BTW) looks like just a lip piercing with an atypical placement.
Just because it's a quarter of an inch to the right doesn't mean
it's got a different name.
