Anyone familiar with Bakersfield, California area? Looking for a good
piercer. Tried one and that one fell out.

Yep. Went to the most northern one on Chester. Only the tattoo guy was
there so had to go back a day or two later for the "piercer" to be in.
He didn't seem to be too pleased that he wasn't going to just sit
around the shop that afternoon. Got a bellybutton pierce. ($35.00
total) Had to take the default jewel - he didn't want to go to the
trouble of me coming back to get another one he'd sterilized - he only
had the "default" jewels sterilized.

Was red from that day on. Took care of it according to the printed
instructions I got.

One day, it just wasn't there any longer. Know how a splinter can get
pushed out over time as the skin sheds and is replaced? Similar.

Talked to another place south of there. They do tattoos, removals and
peircing. The girl there said he probably hadn't pierced deep enough
and to get it done there would be $100.00.

Was by there a few weeks ago and they seem to either have moved (no
new-address sign in window) or gone out of business. Was wondering if
anyone knew a "good" piercer here so I don't have to have 3 or 4
piercings to find one that knows what they are dong. <g>

How about I 'spell it out' for you.

You're too ignorant to get another piercing. Hang around and learn a
bit. Then you'll know why you should have run from the piercer that
wouldn't sterilize other jewelry for you.
