Hi.... I've made a mistake and gave the incorrect numbers to my
artist. Now I have an eight where I should have a seven and vice- versa. I know.... stupid... but it was my first piece and I'd just had a row with my wife about it all, so was flustered and got confused.... Anyway, before I go and creep back in to the store, what are my options for switching them over - I can see a 7 easily becoming an 8, but not sure how he'll "erase" half an 8 to be a 7 |

There's a danger of the transplanted skin falling off though. Seriously, several options, depending on what the entire piece looks like: -get the numbers done considerably bigger so you can hide the old numbers in the new ones -get the numbers covered with something else and get the correct numbers tattooed elsewhere (or underneath, or whatever) -get the wrong numbers lasered off and then redone. NT> Hi.... I've made a mistake and gave the incorrect numbers to my NT> artist. It's probably not too late to drink a fifth of Jack and sit in a hot tub so you cover the tat with hot water and bubbles. Then, immediately dry the tat, cover with suntan oil and lay in the sun until your skin burns. Cover the tat with Vaseline and then wrap in Saran Wrap. Shower 5 times a day, being sure to rub tat with a loofah. Use an anti-bacterial soap. Dry briskly with towel. When not in shower, hot tub or sun, keep tat covered in Vaseline and wrapped in Saran Wrap. Kavin |

A very nice lady lasered the offending number and should be gone after a couple more sessions. It felt like it was very sunburnt for a day or two, but didn't cost the earth. |

Why do people get tattoos?
People sometimes get tattoos for personal reasons, like for courage or for loved ones, but sometimes people get tattoos to give the impression of coolness or popularity. I personally like them because they are a personal form of art. In a way the body is the canvas. http://www.the-art-of-self-expression.blogspot.com/ |
