ass antlers & HIMYM

ok, did anyone watch "how i met your mother" last night? it was
entirely tattoo-related, & hilarious as usual, but they actually used the
term "ass antlers". i was under the impression that term was created here.
does anyone have proof one way or the other?

Dunno, but I've known the German word "Arschgeweih" much longer than
"ass antlers". Either could be a direct translation of the other.

No. I've seen the German word "arschgeweih" used on more than one
German tattoo website - even years ago. I've always assumed that the
English term was a direct translation of that, and it filtered into
English usage from multiple sources.

I think it's the very best term for tattoos of that placement, funny
and descriptive without any nasty connotation.
