Tattoo artist without tattoos?

"WITH her floral blouse, neatly-coiffed long hair and refined manner,
soft-spoken Sumithra Debi looks just like any ordinary young woman.

So much so that she's been mistaken for her shop's receptionist many
times.

But the 26-year-old is probably the only full-time female tattoo
artist in Singapore - never mind if she doesn't spot a single tattoo
on her body.

While female apprentices have come and gone over the years, Sumithra
- better known as Su - from Exotic Tattoos at Far East Plaza remains
the sole survivor in a traditionally male-dominated industry.

Eleven years into her craft, she is the most famous and respected
female tattooist in town, and has lasted the longest in the business,
