I think it is a "concept" that some journalism school dropout thinks is real. The implant would have to be between the skin and the fascia. This is really pretty deep. To be seen the microspheres would have to be in the collagen matrix closer to the surface. The currents to flip the spheres through the layers of dermis would have to be strong to overcome the inherent conductivity of the skin. I remember when I was a kid there was an article in Popular Science about human batteries. The idea was that you could power electronic devices using the electrolytes in the body. There was actually a picture of a person with wires implanted in his hand powering an electric fan. All this would work and could be done quite easily (that geeks pierced themselves in the '60s should also not be that surprising). One little problem and that is for the battery to work, the electrode ions have to move between the electrodes. That means coper, zinc whatever is not only exposed to your precious bodily fluids but is being electronically combined with them. So, whereas I have no doubt that the human battery existed, I don't think it existed for very long. If there is any truth here, it's on that level. --- lish "everybody has a question crank@got.net if not an adoring letter." -jc 43.9% / 30 RANA 128 / 70 |
