Hi! Plus two things, well, maybe three...
1. I'm new in here - as of yesterday actually. Does anyone consistently talk about body art or mods? There are a lot of insults flying around, and I'm trying to figure out whether it's an "inside" joke between members, or simply the internal culture of this group. And no, I'm not being sarcastic or facetious. I honestly want to know if this community is a good "fit" for sharing a common interest in body art/mods. 2. Someone had asked about tattooing over scars. I have seen it done and have had my own surgery scars tattooed over. It hurts noticeably more, but besides that I haven't seen or heard of any ill effects. 3. As for me: I have about 30% total body coverage at the moment, and am currently working on a lower leg "sleeve." (Why can't they come up with a more suitable name for full leg coverage? In fact, does anyone know of one?) Kind of lost my interest in piercing, and only kept my belly ring and nose screw, as well as letting my ears rest at a more reasonable (for work) 000 gauge. I belonged to the BME community years ago, but the internal politics (along with the general direction of the group) began to make me uncomfortable, so I drifted away. No hard feelings mind you - and as always, I wish them well. Everyone has to choose their own path. So... that's about it for me. Hope to hear back from someone. (And thanks for taking the time to read this.) S. |

People come and people go. Kavvy is a longtime participant in this newsgroup. Is he on my Christmas card list? No, but I don't usually send those things. Anyway, I'm not fond of the t word. I much prefer "jerk" for those who tend to annoy. Ymmv. Not too crazy about "we've" either. Where is your army? :D > away (or at least a particularly lame one who has a penchant for > harassing newbies with sh/h/it's bullshit), LOL! > > > H2W Who are you? I've seen many web pages of current and former RABbits. I've met a few of the current and former RABbits. My memory is, however, what I'd call toast and so I don't remember seeing you post here before. I do share your opinion that some have a "penchant for harassing newbies with" assorted nonsense. Regardless, I'd like to know more about you. You have a profile somewhere? This is me: http://curtjames.com/ Welcome to RAB. :) -- |

However, even that gets boring, and also drives people away, and the low activity here clearly shows that. I'm hoping a new generation of cooler people will populate this NG. it looks like |

Oh, he has manners. It helps to be standing in front of him, however. I got a free poster. And his wife is a sweetheart. Him? Often a curmudgeon and at times an asshole. Like most people, right? -- |
