1) WhoWhereWhy?

-Who?
I'm SKRZKRK, somebody from online, who catched the
bug of bodmods at an early age. I own some piercings
and a tattoo. Yes, only one! But more are coming.

-Where?
Ivry Sur Seine in France, a nice suburb of Paris
with quite a cool mix of people from different ethnies
and cultures.

-Why?
Here because I realy do enjoy Body Modification!
Yes you guessed right :) I hope to have a nice time
with you!

2) Nickname?

SKRZKRK. Hello it's me!
It was my first nickname online, back in 1993.
I got it while reading a child's book about tongue
twisters and this one made me laugh:

Str? prst skrz krk

Literally it means: Stick Your Finger Down Your Throat

So SKRZ KRK means ... Down your throat.

You can say it easily. Open wide your mouth and say

Skrruuuzzzzkreeeeek

With your throat contracting like you want to spit a
loogie out.

3) Usenet?

I used to love usenet and I was a regular on a lot
of groups. I won't tell my old screen name as my past
provider insisted on us giving our full IRL names.
When I got my first ADSL provider, usenet was
firewalled and I went without access to newsgroups for
nearly five years But, now my ISP brought us a gateway!
So I'm back amongst you.

4) Do Like?

-Computers.
I'm into computers. A lot. I love alternative
operating system, like different Unixes and Linux
I'm working on actually.

-Music and High End audio stuff
I love music, of all kind. And I like to have
the right stuff to listen to it with the highest
fidelity I can afford.

-Photography
I use to take pictures since an early age.
Photography is one of the hobbies I enjoy the most.
Unfortunately, I doesn't have a gallery online to share
my work with you.

-To read, and write
Beautiful things. I love synthax. From C to Baudelaire.
I love beautiful poetry.

-People from different backgrounds
May it be ethnies, cultures, religions, lifestyles.
Whatever, everybody is sharing the treasure of their
lifes.

-And a lot of othe things
Electronics, Technology, Spelunking, Diving, Architeures
I collect hobbies, and sorry, I'm too tired to speak
about them, right now it's 1 am and I still have a lot to
type.

5) Born what? -on genderfucking-

Guess what? I wasn't born with a 100% female body.
I now have a female body and a mostly female mind.
Was I born male? Female? Both or Neither? You may
never know.

My body has changed a lot from birth by actions I took.
Chemicals and surgeries. People from 5 years ago
can't recognize me on the street. I changed a lot
only by what I did to myself.

I actually don't like the standard male and female
stereotypes society want us to live with.

I used a lot to hide from my self and live the lie
of my old self. It was chosing between being the
well known wealthy "computer genius" and being
the marginal genderfucker. Yes, now I'm both.

But I have to admit, I'm quite happy to be perceived
as "the girl next door" sometime.

Yes I do own some, here they are:

- +/- 10mm Left Lobe still stretching
- Left tragus
- 14 Ga spetum
- 14 Ga labret
- 14 Ga tongue
- 16 Ga right nostril

- 14 Ga second right lobe
- 14 Ga navel

1) WhoWhereWhy?
Most know me as DaVo, I'm from Des Moines, Iowa and have been
collecting tattoos since 1987 and piercings since 1994. I own and
operate the Axiom Body Piercing Studio inside the Skin Kitchen.

2) Nickname?
My name is David but almost everyone calls me DaVo(Dave-o). It was a
family nickname that was given to me because my family wasn't very
inventive and there was a number of cousins named David.

3) Usenet?
When I first got online, I was one of those evil people that did so
with Webtv. I got active in this group and a couple punk/music groups.
At some point, I felt that just about every subject that could be
covered had been, got bored and moved on.

4) Do like?
Music - I've been active in the Des Moines music scene and punk scene
since the mid 80s. At one point or another, I've been involved in
Zines, singing in Bands, promoted shows at local venues and even
managed a few bands.

Internet - I have been building and managing sites since 1998.
Currently I'm the webmaster of http://axiompiercing.com and http://iowaunder.com.

Reading and writing - I read anything that I can get my hands on and
write when I have the time.

Cooking, wine, beer and cocktails - I have bartended in the past and
have a passion for making a great cocktail. Also loving cooking and no
meal is complete without a fine glass of wine or a lovely pint of
beer.

Parenthood - I have a 10 year old son that is one of my greatest
pleasures.


5) Born what? -on genderfucking-
Male, no change there.

6) Mods?
I've slowed down with my collecting after 2000. Most of my tattoos are
on my site. Piercings I have 6 ear piercings ranging from 16g to 2g,
eye brow at 16g, tongue piercing at 2g, Nipples at 6g, PA at 4g and 2
scrotum piercings at 12g.

7) Endword?
Piercing has supported me in a way that allowed me to live a kind of
endless summer vacation. I don't think that there will ever come a
point where I've learned everything there is or shared all of my
knowledge. I'm back in here for a while and hope to enjoy some of the
exchange of ideas RAB was known for.
