i'm gonna see them in san francisco on 10/21 - i bought tickets last
weekend. and if everything works out the way it's supposed to, i will
also get my daiths pierced that same day.

nice. be sure they use a larger needle than jewelry. that was my
easiest healing cartilage piercing.

also, as a point of interest, research first whether you want
"true" daith placement.

thank you for that. i want the finished piercings to be 14g, so that
would mean piercing at 12, yes? if i do indeed end up having them done,
it will be by the same guy who did my dermal punches. i trust him not
to fuck things up ... at least not too badly.

i want them as "true" as anatomy will allow, actually. my reasons for
doing it are about 50-50 aesthetic and spiritual, so yeah - as close to
the original purpose of the piercing as possible. it's hard to find
pictures that show true placement; yours are the closest i've found.
most of them seem like they're too far back.

hopefully it all goes down this weekend.

12 if your anatomy supports it. or pierce at 14, wear 16 to heal
(FULLY), then stretch back up to 14. either way i've found is fine.

i haven't had a problem finding "true" placement pics on bme.
