I really don't know why I've stumbled back in here after such a long
absence. I guess I was bored and curious. I see many new faces that I don't know, many that just aren't here and some that are. Ah well, that is the way of any cycle. P. |

Nearly twenty years ago, I gently pinched the skin on the back of my then 70-something grandmother's hand and equally gently pulled. The pinched wad of skin... stayed in its elevated and pinched shape for some seconds while yours truly, my two brothers, and our loving grandmother sat and laughed at the marvel of the loss of elasticity in her skin. I'm noticing the rumblings of that loss of skin elasticity at age 44 and so am less than inclined to participate in suspensions. I picture lots of fine folk with their knee skin draped around their ankles like a pair of baggy pants in the coming years. ;o) Nevertheless, it does look like hella fun. -- Curt http://curtjames.com/ |

Fwiw, she has a website, compunction something or other and, last I knew, a live journal, too. Oh, yeah, and she appears occasionally in this newsgroup. Hth. Regardless, do you have a snake tattoo? Is your name Paul? I love coincidence. > Now I really don't know who you are talking about since I have no owls > anywhere. Well, on November 22, 2004, psf_64 at comcast dot net aka Paul wrote some... schtufff. You, fortunately or unfortunately, possess that very same email address. It has been almost two years, however, and so, perhaps, you're an entirely different Paul of psf_64 at comcast dot net. If so then I do apologize for the misidentification. > > > Your sarcasm is still so 'underwhelming', just like I remember it. > > > > Hmm. That's positively not direct enough for me, P. I'll interpret it as, "Would you like fries with that?" Yes, please, and a chocolate Frosty, thanks! D'OH! (Are my attempts at humor as 'underwhelming' as you may remember them?) > > > Been working on some concepts. > > > > Details? > > Working on a memorial tattoo for my Father who passed away last year. You have my condolences, P. I've often thought of a tribute tattoo for my grandparents. No mention of their deaths or dates, but a celebration of the things they loved or are remembered for. > > > I've been more focusing on suspensions. > > > > Nearly twenty years ago, I gently pinched the skin on the back of my > > then 70-something grandmother's hand and equally gently pulled. I've never seen a suspension in person, however it looks like a great time from what I've seen in pics and on video. I have attended a few pulls, but am not interested in that either other than as a spectator. > P. Anyway, I guess I'm not getting that Frosty. :o/ -- Curt http://curtjames.com/ |

Do you see heavy traffic and then avoid driving? Do you look in the mirror and then avoid shaving? Uh, must you shave? Never mind. Do you read the newspaper's headlines and then crawl back in bed, avoiding the day? Perhaps you're an... interperate? ;o) heh Oh, okay, you'd have to read the entire thread for that to make much sense. Maybe. I assume you've done that already. But those were terrible comparisons, of course. Inaccurate at best. This is much closer to the mark: Do you see a beautiful sunset and then remember why you avoid the view? ;o) Regardless, it IS possible to set up killfiles. Or so I've been told. You could even give ignoring yours truly and Dr. Slick a shot. Might work for you. Might not. Best of luck, pal. Hey, wait a second, you're not saying that you're avoiding rec.arts.bodyart simply because you see my name or Gar's nick listed as posters, are you? Riiiiight. Still, none of my text was quoted in your message. > "google" it if Google? Now why didn't I think of that?! > you dont before using it. And, fyi, if you had actually done what you recommended the OP should do, well, you would've seen that c'est la vie - at least so far as Google is concerned - has largely been Americanized.
