The best part about it is that Snickers are my least favorite candy bar ever. It's amazing the things that Curt thinks he can "score" a "point" with. |

Every art teacher I ever had made sure we knew they were, say, a ceramic artist, or photographer, or painter, etc. Has Curt ever said? Let's face it, his ego is huge about everything else. We know all about that little journalism class in the Navy. But his art? Nada. And have you seen his schools website? Not one piece of his students art. But we know about Curt. (Why DID they take his photo off the site?) Oh, it is an 'alternative' elementary school -- but why is the last part of the mission statement education? Why isn't that first? At least Foose Alternative School has STYLE! Kavin |

I was an instructor in watercolor and drawing at Carlisle's Arts Learning Center for about a year while I was substituting in the Harrisburg School District. Scott Bock had a similar question and my answer seemed to work for Sarah. > Every art teacher I ever had made sure we knew they were, > say, a ceramic artist, or photographer, or painter, etc. Cool. Thanks for sharing, Kavin. > Has Curt ever said? See above. But if that's not clear enough for you, I concentrated on drawing and painting while in college. I'd call myself a cartoonist if asked. It's what I love the most. And I've demonstrated that love often right here in RAB. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v1...e &interval=3 aka http://tinyurl.com/ycqclo > Let's face it, his ego is huge about everything else. Who'd you piss off? (Then again, that was a stupid question) Or is there a restraining order against you? No, I'm sure it's because they don't want a full page with thumbnails of the litttle man at the card table holding up various student art. > > > But we know about Curt. > > I honestly don't think you do. > > > (Why DID they take his photo off the site?) > > Was never on, but there's this: Try again. Saw it. Why was it pulled? And by the way, just because I didn't hot cot in Navy doesn't mean anything, sailor boy. How much training do you have as a poll-worker? How many elections have you endured 13 hour days so that others can vote? In fact, do you even vote? Sorry Curt, going into the Navy because you lacked any chance of getting any other job does not make you patriotic. It just makes you the trailor trash yttrx has always suspected you to be. hth Kavin |

All the art teachers were told that posting student art was something that needed to be worked out with legal. Spin whatever fantasy makes you happy, but that's the fact. However, there is this: http://www.geocities.com/samsartclass/ which I thought I'd posted before. Meh. > The sewing teachers seem capable of getting STYLE on the > website. Link? Because I'm not sure you even have the right school. You missed the mark on your specialty question. I wouldn't be surprised if you have the wrong state. > Who'd you piss off? I wonder. > (Then again, that was a stupid question) Typically, I believe there are no stupid questions, however since you asked it, hey, I'm not going to argue with the characterization. > Or is there a restraining order against you? How's that work exactly? You have experience with those things, Kav? I do not. > No, I'm sure it's because they don't want a full page with thumbnails > of the litttle man at the card table holding up various student art. Whatever, Kav. The tiny card table is a fictional creation that brought not a few laughs to several people. I'm a registered Democrat. > Sorry Curt, going into the Navy because Because I chose to, Kav. I enlisted for training in a Navy specialty (remember that word?), received that school and was assigned a follow-up "C" school on the basis of merit. Google it via RAB's archives. This is old news, terrier. > you lacked any chance of getting any other job Again, your research is found lacking, Kav. I was working full-time at a printing plant when I enlisted. The military was a great choice for me as I earned college credits, gained experience, and contributed to an educational assistance program, VEAP, which paid for a good amount of my college after my honorable discharge. > does not make you patriotic. That's true. I imagine there are people in the military who could care less about their country. I just wasn't one of them. > It just makes you the trailor trash <snip> Half of my childhood was spent on a farm. The other half in that t-r-a-i-l-E-r park you allude to. However even so-called trailer trash can spell better than you, pal. And most of us can dodge a volleyball, too. hTh. ;oD -- Curt http://curtjames.com/ |
