(tips hat)

I destroyed the newsgroup.

Or that's what some might have you believe.

Actually, LJ happened, MySpace happened, BME and IAM happened, people
gained new interests or simply lost interest in this newsgroup. Life,
death, sickness, and health - it seems clear - all influence a
newsgroup just as they influence off-line events.

And, yes, new faces appear occasionally as do old faces. Sadly, the old
faces seem to complain about me nine times out of ten.

Regardless, welcome back. Enjoy your stay.

hi pierre. As someone who watched it happen, curt is right.

His idiocy and never-ending trolls drove out nearly every regular
over the last six years. He greatly enjoys this, and never lets anyone
forget it.

Apparently not enough of them!

Pierre, there was/still is, mostly a bunch of
irate assholes and bitches on this NG, who did their
best to discourage new people from either expressing
themselves or asking legitimate bodyart questions.

Curt, ironically, has been one of the most
positive and helpful people here, and because he
never responded to all the hate that was flung at him,
the mob-like regulars got discouraged/bored, and
have left.

THANK YOU, CURT! This NG is all the better
now that you are the main man!

Rock on!

Oh, some might say I've contributed a goodly amount of negativity, too.
Still, there's context to consider, imo. ;o)

Thank you, G.

Never responded??? What have I been doing all this time? :oD

Although I do appreciate what I consider a compliment and support, I'm
not sure I agree with your assessment. Like I said, LJ happened,
MySpace happened, heck, Lost Cherry happened! And, of course, IRC
continued. Plus other newsgroups may have lured the regulars away as
well.

(blushes)

Ahem. Well, you're welcome, I guess.

I believe that lish, female though she might be, ever shall be the main
man in these parts. Nonetheless, Slick, you are encouraged to make more
regular appearances, naturally. ;o)

Well, I meant that you never responded in the way
they wanted you to, like getting lost and never posting
again.
