Default Me again. 8g now, and 2 questions.

Some may remember me, and those who do probably despise me. Therefore,
i will keep this short and simple, all the while hoping my
punctuation/grammar do not offend.

What should a healed 8g horseshoe *feel* like in the lobe, as your body
and head undergo movement ?

Also, it's been suggested to me by someone in a large, reputable studio
in Omaha Nebraska to not perform Sea Salt soaks on my piercings, and
merely use Dial or similar. If anyone has input or experience
regarding this, please, let me know !

Thank You.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
to those that remember my ordeals, or care to dig them up:
The only knowledge i have gained over the last several months is that
my body does not like o-rings (silicone or latex), ANY movement, and
for ME, cheese is good.

i will TRY my best to use quotes/attribs appropriately.
I was taking things much too seriously back then... personally too.

i don't remember you, but the weight of jewelry depends on the
material & diameter as well as the gauge.

I'm exactly sure what you mean, and it's going to depend quite a lot
on anatomy and jewellery, but that size of piercing with a
semicircular barbell in it was certainly noticeable to me when I moved
my head, though not in an unpleasant or distracting way. Pretty
similar to wearing a regular dangly earring of approximately the same
size and weight.

Lish posted a link to a good healing method. Essentially, doing as
little as possible to irritate the healing piercing while facilitating
your own healing process is the goal, and doing too much is probably
the more common mistake than too little.
