Baby Blues by longtime friends Rick Kirkman and Jerry Scott offered a
bodyart-related strip recently. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...B/ha/bbtat.gif For those not inclined to click links but curious about the cartoon, the comic strip is in color and two panels. First panel shows a pair of latex-covered hands holding a tattoo machine inking the title of the comic strip in script while the stencil of the creators' names is shown below in a banner. Second panels offers the husband and wife strolling through the mall, father with daughter on his shoulders, mother with a stroller and baby, while their son leads the way wearing a ballcap. To their left are stores with the following signs: Cheese Logs 'n Nose Studs!, R(musical note)ING TONES UP THE YIN (yin yang symbol) YANG, and T(heart)ttoos for Tots. A man - sporting tattoos, shaved head, and possibly a labret - holding an infant is seen exiting or walking past the tattoo shop. The Baby Blues father is the only character with text: "Is it just me, or do you feel like we're starting to drift a little out of the mainstream?" -- Curt http://curtjames.com/ |
