Seriously tho it says that a lot (most) dealers are user/dealers, friend dealers etc and thatn there are lots of middle class dealers etc and that these don't fit with what people normally think. Aslo says drug markets arnt as bad as made out in lots of ways. Looks good - thought the group might be intrested?

Or you're drug-addled brain works as well as Curt's? Go away and stay away. Kavin |

I don't need a book to tell me that, yes, some drug dealers are simply entrepreneurs who are making money in a perhaps dangerous and definitely illegal way. > Seriously tho it says that a lot (most) dealers are user/dealers, > friend dealers etc and thatn there are lots of middle class dealers > etc and that these don't fit with what people normally think. It should come as no surprise that people from all walks of life and at every socioeconomic level partake in drugs. Personal use or even selling to friends. Pick up a newspaper if you doubt me. > Aslo says drug markets arnt as bad as made out in lots of ways. > Looks good - thought the group might be intrested? > > http://www.fabooks.com/book.php?id=440 Is it your book? I mean are you the author? At $34.95 there are many other books on drug culture that I'd be buying first. At $19.99: http://www.amazon.com/Smoke-Mirrors-...e=UTF8&s=books At $14.95: http://www.amazon.com/Ending-Drugs-D...e=UTF8&s=books And at $12.44: http://www.amazon.com/Drug-War-Crime...e=UTF8&s=books The war on drugs is a farce and a failure. I read a book titled _New Jack_ where the author states that money is being put aside to build jails for people who haven't even been born yet. Yes, that's called planning ahead. Actually, that's what I'd call poor planning and the result of poor policy. http://www.amazon.com/Newjack-Guardi...e=UTF8&s=books > jon heh :o) Did you think the rec in rec.arts.bodyart was for *rec*reational drug use? I don't smoke. Not Marlboros, not Newports, and not marijuana. Heck, I rarely drink alcohol although I've read that a glass of red wine would be a good thing from a health perspective. Anyway, thanks for your input. Now, do you have any tattoos or piercings you'd like to talk about? -- Curt http://curtjames.com/ |

I still define your loving uncle as a child molester and your grandmother as someone who ignores reality. Care to spar? I'm armed for bear. You aren't even a cub. Kavin |

As much as you Google and play terrier, you'd think you'd be aware of this: http://www.hbgsd.k12.pa.us/foose/site/default.asp Check the page carefully, Kavvy. Home of the Cougar what? ;o) > Kavin So, yeah, you're wrong and you're wrong and, oh, you're wrong. That seems to cover things neatly. Oh, and re my RAB reception, guess you missed the following, too: http://groups.google.com/group/rec.a...3b05b634fbc91c aka http://tinyurl.com/yha4lj Quite a nice reception at that. :oD Hth. -- Curt http://curtjames.com/ |

Anyone of significance? Didn't think so. Your point, again? And do you really think that everyone is like you and depends on archives? Sorry, but your school system really is lame. I know what I saw. And your system has violated its own policies and has shown students, yes students. But you know that. Your grandmother's death ten years ago does not mean she didn't know your uncle molested you. It just means she's dead. Kavin |

Heyyyyy, Boo Boo Bear, why don't you tell me the point! > And do you really think that everyone is like you Ohhh, would that they could be, Kavvy. Would that they could be! Things would be VERY different. People would be much less organized however much more flexible. People would laugh more than they frown. Cigarette manufacturers would be conducting massive layoffs as no one would be buying their products. Everyone would own a motorcycle. Alcohol would be replaced by Gatorade as the chief beverage imbibed by the people at the corner bar. Galaga would be played by people on a regular basis while sports stadiums would be abandoned sites perhaps being taken over by female bodybuilding, figure, and fitness competitions as the swing to aesthetic appreciation would outstrip the current love for contact sports. Art museums would replace churches as places of "worship" throughout the land and funding for public libraries would increase dramatically as the money currently being spent on the war in Iraq would trickle to zero as our troops would be returned home almost immediately. And I suspect that more things would change, but, hey, that'd be a nice start, imo. Ymmv. > and depends on archives? HA! You're saying you have no interest in the ng archives? P'shaw, Kavvy. > Sorry, but your school system really is lame. > I know what I saw. I suspect you don't know what you saw, sadly. You don't know, apparently, as what you see, read, etc. seems to have a permanent disconnect from reality. > And your system has violated its own policies and > has shown students, yes students. To review, Kavin, because, yes, it seems you really need it, I stated that, "All the art teachers were told that posting student art was something that needed to be worked out with legal. Spin whatever fantasy makes you happy, but that's the fact." Now if you want to interpret that as a lame "system" policy then be my guest. I'll count it as spinning a fantasy that makes you happy. The fact remains, however, that all art teachers were told that posting student art was forbidden. Can you grasp that, Kavin? Speeding is forbidden. Stealing office supplies is forbidden. Shootings, selling illegal drugs, jaywalking, and more are all forbidden. Do people participate in these activities and more? Yes, of course. That doesn't change the fact that certain things are noted as illegal. Some abide while some do not. Welcome to planet Earth, Kav. Enjoy your stay. > But you know that. I know all. ;o) > Your grandmother's death ten years ago does not > mean she didn't know your uncle molested you. > It just means she's dead. Water off a duck's back, Kav. But do continue spinning your fantasies. > Kavin Still, is this all you pack when you hunt bear? HA! :oD -- Curt http://curtjames.com/ |

You are delusional. The thread YOU list has, what, 6 posts to it? And you are half. I'm surprised you didn't list Keith and how he loved you. Loser. Kavin Hint: System can mean School Sytem. We call that context. Something you complain of yet don't understand. Obviously. |

But do continue spinning your fantasies. Felt a need to reply to that, huh? Sort of belies the 'doesn't bother me at all' thought your statement implies. Or maybe you're saying your history with your uncle doesn't bother you anymore. Funny how phrases can be turned. Kavin |

How so? Again, you wrote "Anyone of significance?" With that question in mind and the following names from that thread - heidi, Meyham, Caryn Zeier, (all significant in my opinion, btw) plus yours truly, I Googled "heidi + x" with x being a few names you, Kavin, might consider "significant." Guilt or "significance" by proximity would indicate that Heidi is, yes, firmly planted in the "Anyone of significance" category. Ymmv. > The thread YOU list has, what, 6 posts to it? Yes.
