OT-- Kavin's back from Biloxi--it's sad

First, let me say, I learned to gamble. Played fro three days on house
money (really, from the VERY beginning). I never use my money. And
was able to pay the hotel charges with the proceeds. Loved that.

Second, I think I will travel every Christmas from now on. No matter
how weird it gets with the relatives, you know you're going someplace
different later.

But, oh, Biloxi. Sad, sad, sad. Granted, I know it was the holiday
season, but you look around and expect to see signs of life, and there
are very few visible. Some of the casinos are re-built. Some are very
pretty. Some look as if they just built as quickly as possible to get
a revenue stream going -- they'll come back later and make it pretty.
Some, nothing.

Outside of the casinos, you see so few people. One of the bus drivers
said half of the residents never came back. You see houses that look
as if someone is trying to rebuild them, but they just can't seem to
accomplish it. Biloxi looks the same way.

I'm glad i didn't see the town before it was scoured away. Now it just
looks spooky to me. It would have really creeped me out had I a good
reference point.

On the lighter side, our hotel room had a ghost.

I've met you in person. A 12 inch square tattoo on you is almost 40%
coverage -- which is about 17% on anyone else.

I'm not saying you could be on that TLC show about midgets, but you
aren't ever going to be on the call back list for the part of the Jolly
