I knew one couple who had their wedding bands symbolized by flesh removal completed on their ring fingers. Cool. Otoh, they're divorced. So, what to expect? I'd say (odds are anyway) to expect divorce. Prepare for divorce. Limitations would include, yes, a divorce. And, as I'm a fan of Google, prepare for, "exposure and vulnerability to the risk of a financially and personally ruinous divorce or decades-long custody war." From: http://www.divorcereform.org/results.html How old are you? No matter. Divorce is the norm. Be aware. Best of luck, of course. Although somewhat of a pessimist wrt the outlook of success for any marriage (ya think?), I'll propose a toast to the bride and groom without, however, endorsing any ring finger tattoos. No. -- Curt |

On the optimistic side, I think it's a great idea. Not everyone gets
divorced. My parents have been married for 39 years. My wife and I have been married for almost 10. As a tattoo artist and someone who believes in the sanctity of marriage I not only endorse it, I've done it. I still don't recommend names in the unlikely event a spouse passes away and you wish to get remarried, but a wedding band can show other people your dedication, love for another, and that you do have morals. It's a tattoo. It still hurts the same but it will probably wear off a little on the sides and bottom as time passes. Hello all; my Fiancée and me are planning to have wedding bands tattooed onto our ring fingers. Any advice you could offer about what to expect, prepare for, and the limitations of a tattoo on a finger that size and that position. Thanks. |

Don't you think that the average person can figure out who is saying what even completely WITHOUT brackets let alone your initials attribution indicators? Just sayin'. > but a wedding band can show . . . you do have morals. > > > Sorry, overreaching a bit, there. Imo, if you haven't been married then you're the one who's overreaching a bit. Have you been married? > A wedding band just shows you are/were married. Izzat right? Many would disagree. Hiles being just one, obviously. And, despite my rather negative outlook on the odds of marital bliss, I count myself as another who would disagree with you wrt a wedding band's significance and what it can represent. > Kavin -- Curt |

How, I say, HOW??? It's simply too difficult a task! Woe is me! > And since your opinion with me counts for nothing . . . Yes? Well? Still another dilemma! Kavin failed to complete his sentence! Whatever will I, oh, dear, how can I, I mean, well, what could possibly be the answer to this mystery? > Kavin -- Curt |
