Don't be foolish, Lori. And don't use your son as a shield. Convenient perhaps but inappropriate, imo. Perhaps when your son gets older he'll recognize context. I'm surprised that you couldn't handle his question on your own without my assistance. Next time I use a double negative just point to common statement like, "It ain't nothing but a thang." Curt, slang is not proper English. Therefore, you have made no point. And 'ain't' is colloquial for 'isn't'. 'Thang' is ghetto and a misspelling. You are an idiot. Kavin |

Like I said, you are to points like points are to marbles. Otoh, marbles is a game, isn't it? And, yeah, you score points there, so... http://www.marblemuseum.org/games/ringer.html Now THERE's some ~*coOLnEW*~ vocabulary, btw. Regardless, I'm certain you use more non-standard English than anything else, Kav. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...ish_adjectives > And 'ain't' is colloquial for 'isn't'. Sure, I can handle my sons question on my own, only relying on intuition which can be a messy business and incorrect, but aside from my son and myself what about the rest of your audience? Truly, you have the worse case of cognitive dissonance I've ever come across, but no matter, as long as the OP understands you don't care if anyone else misunderstands. >> As easy as it would have been for you to simply respond "no" to a >> simple question, and a simple "thanks" without me having to ask for it. > Hey, you asking a question doesn't guarantee a yes or no response. If a person refuses the help of a pill, then it's his or her own fault for remaining disordered. Again, I'll never attempt to help you out again Curt; after all, as long as the OP understands you don't care if anyone else misunderstands. >re my comment "Many of them will get it. Get used to it, welcome to planet Earth, etc. You're right. I didn't like the response I received. It was unjust. I try not to make pets of my peeves but injustice is a hard thing for me to let pass by. Mea culpa. > > 1) Don't assume everyone is out to get you; > > I don't. Ok then, why do you feel it is necessary to state it is an echo of a lie? You're right I lack creativity. I could not possibly have come up with anything so vile as scat and uncle fucking to have rammed my point home better. > > I've have gained something. I'm disciplined enough to allow you the last word, go on your happy way with no fears. ;) L. |
