Hi everybody! Thanks for reading. I am a student writting a paper on
tattoos/shops/artists... I need personal acounts/stories to complete my project. Every week I will be posting a new topic until I am finished. I would love to hear your stories... please help! This weeks topics: 1. Ever heard of someone "illegally" copying another person's original tattoo? What happened? What was there reasoning? Did they get beat down? Did the artist know? What tattoo did they copy? 2. Ever known anyone ask what tattoo they should get? What did you think of their question? What did you tell them? Did they take your advice? 3. Do you know of anyone that just sat in the chair and let the tattoo artist do whatever came to mind? What did they get? Were they happy with it? How did the artist repond to that? Answer any or all questions & please be as detailed as possible. Thanks again. Love, a fellow tattooed friend |

He's going to tell you about his stolen Calvin and Hobbes tattoo, the fact he can't heal a piercing, and if you are lucky, he'll ask you out on a date. |

Honestly, I just haven't seen him to give it back. Oh, and, hey, I've grown rather attached to the cartoon. Or should that be the other way around? Hmmm. Regardless, definitely borrowed. > When you die? Morbid Kavin, my bestestest ATL p-a-l. > Kavin -- Curt |

A genie grants you three tattoo wishes. That's right, this genie can't whip up world peace or a cure for AIDS, but you can have three wishes related to tattoos. I'll go with a series of tattoo interviews with Tom Renshaw. The opportunity to sit down, have a beer or a coffee with him and quiz him on his life as a tattoo artist. I'm holding my other two wishes for now, but one might include spending a week on the staff of one of the tattoo magazines and the other might be organizing a tattoo convention in the Harrisburg (at the Farm Show Arena) or Carlisle (at the Fairgrounds) area. -- Curt |
