I think the OP was meaning coils for tattoo machinery. Or perhaps a
torture device for whoever stole his . key.

so hard to get a responce that means anything on this forum though my first
wife was fitted with 3 coils front and rear as she was an old tart mind you.
But alas I meant machine coils I thought this was for tattooists and folk
interested in tattoing is it or isnt it? I heard a guy was getting a tattoo
on his but hed been prepd with surgical spirits and he farted and the spark
from the tattoists machine ignited the fart and set fire to the guys
genitals as they still had residual spirits on them.

Really?

I figured as much. Unfortunately I and, I guess, most of the regulars
on here are at the other end of the needle.

It's for anyone with an interest in bodyart.

Riiight. Did you also hear about the guy who had a rabbit inked on his
scalp?

It wasn't exactly 100% clear to me what it was you were asking in your
original posting I'm afraid. If it had been I would've asked a tattooist
friend of mine for you when I saw them but I've missed that window of
opportunity for now. Sorry chief. :o)

My initial thought was that you were talking about either stator coils or HT
coils on an engine! (Ok, so I'm a bit of a petrolhead sometimes!) Hence my
"wrong group?" query.

Hope you get an answer to whatever it is you're asking about (I still
haven't got a clue what you're actually asking!)

I mean, *real* coils? (As opposed to imaginary ones?)

"..all the popular online stores.." (A list of links to some you've tried
would point us in the right direction to help rule out someone repeating
somewhere you've already tried unsuccessfully).

I'll gladly ask for advice for you if you make your request a little more
specific and break it down into understandable portions for us mere mortals
on the receiving end of the ink.

I know of one or two other Bodyart forums you can try for help:

http://www.wildskinart.com/dating/forum/ (Don't be put off by the "dating"
section of the URL - it's not *that* sort of place!!) ;o)

http://www.totalsmudge.co.uk/ (seems to have been offline quite a bit lately
but always worth a try)

http://www.inkednation.com/ (Not quite the same sort of thing as UPB or the
above forums but a worthwhile site to try to get chatting with other tattoo
artists)

Hope this helps.

Rusty.

You might find this helpful reading:

http://people.howstuffworks.com/tattoo.htm
http://tattoos.lovetoknow.com/Tattoo_Guns
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tattoo_gun
http://www.faqs.org/faqs/bodyart/tattoo-faq/part8/section-5.html

I think they make the OP's questions clear. Unfortunately having no
experience of tattooing I can't help answer them myself.
